The technology firm has been operating in the Atlas building in the Cadiz tax district since 2022 and, with the lease of two new modules, it is growing by almost 200 m2 of space and 37 specialized jobs.
The company is part of the innovative ecosystem of the Free Zone and develops cutting-edge technology from Cádiz for international clients.
The Spanish multinational Grupo Oesía-Tecnobit consolidates its presence in the Free Zone of Cádiz with an expansion of its current facilities in the tax area, which will go from the 472 m2 of surface it currently has to occupy more than 600 m2, specifically 636 m2 in the Atlas building, where it has leased two new modules annexed to the current ones to increase the space and capacity of its industrial and digital division.
Tecnobit- Grupo Oesía began operating in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz in 2022 with the objective of having a new corporate headquarters in the province from which to address the expected growth prospects.
Grupo Oesía is a Spanish multinational dedicated to industrial engineering (Tecnobit) and digital engineering (Oesía Networks), with 3,200 professionals working for 25 countries around the world, integrated into 16 corporate headquarters in Spain and Latin America, developing and implementing innovative projects worldwide.
The expansion of the facilities has been given by the need for growth of the firm, in full expansion and with a diverse client portfolio since its activity is dedicated to specialized digital and industrial activity focused on different sectors such as health, public administration, defense and security, aeronautics and space, telecommunications, finance, logistics and the industrial sector.
The initial investment to adapt the new facilities is 195,000 euros, consolidating its work in the development of cutting-edge technology, and increasing specialized jobs by 37, mainly for the industrial division, which are added to the 52 already existing.
It must be remembered that Oesía-Tecnobit is part of the ecosystem of innovative and technological companies that have recently joined the business fabric of the Cádiz Free Zone. The growth of the tax area and the enhancement of business spaces and facilities is part of the new 4.0 industrial model that has attracted firms such as Capgemini, Quest Global, Rospa, Elecam, Dragados Offshore or Dreexo Energy.
The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Fran González, has evaluated this expansion of facilities very positively. “We are delighted that companies feel comfortable in the Free Trade Zone, consolidate their activity here and grow because if companies grow, it affects the entire environment, creating jobs and wealth.”
Fran González pointed out that "the Cádiz Free Trade Zone is carrying out important work to recover, improve and put its quality productive spaces on the market. This is creating a productive, technological and innovative fabric around the Consortium that complements the Blue Economy ecosystem and enriches our new industry 4.0 model."
