A representation of the Business Promotion and Foreign Trade Area of the Cádiz Consortium participates in this important international forum, a reference fair for logistics
The contacts of the Cádiz Free Zone in Morocco are close, with previous trade missions in which useful contacts have been made with companies and logistics operators, especially in the agri-food sector.
A representation of the Business Promotion and Foreign Trade Area of the Cádiz Free Zone has traveled this week to the Moroccan city of Casablanca to participate in the 13th edition of Logismed 2026, the main logistics and supply chain fair in North Africa, which began this Tuesday the 12th and concludes tomorrow with Spain as the guest country of honor, which is attracting international decision-makers and operators. The event brings together operators, authorities and companies from the logistics and transport sector from across the Mediterranean and African environment.
Attending this fair is an opportunity for the Free Zone to hold meetings, strengthen contacts and present the customs and tax advantages, logistical assets and industrial equipment that it has throughout the province, with the aim of attracting investments in a country like Morocco and a continent, Africa, which is in the process of economic expansion.
The presence of the Cádiz Consortium in Logismed is part of the mission organized by Andalucía Trade, forming the Cádiz delegation, in addition to Zona Franca, Cádiz-Port and the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz, and the companies Baylog and Macpherson Underwater Services.
The stand in which the Cádiz tax complex participates, highly valued for its location and for being a natural entry and exit door to foreign markets, has aroused great interest after the Cádiz Consortium already established contacts in previous trade missions to the neighboring country.
The International Transport and Logistics Fair, Logismed, is of great importance for the sector and covers everything from the provision of transport and logistics services to specialized consulting insupply chain, offering concrete solutions for each operational need of the participating companies.
Beyond the exhibition area, Logismed 2026 has a high-level scientific program that will address the industry's biggest challenges. The event seeks for professionals to stay at the forefront of information and explore the trends that are transforming global business.
