The president of the Provincial Council, Irene García, received today at the Provincial Palace the State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Victoria Rodríguez. Beyond the protocol nature of this meeting – the first of an institutional nature after the recent appointment of Victoria Rodríguez – both public representatives talked about the challenges that the province of Cádiz can achieve, in relation to its economic development and job creation.
Irene García and Victoria Rodríguez share the need not to waste any entrepreneurial project, as well as to promote the strengthening of companies. In the present corporate mandate, the Provincial Council intervenes in the programs promoted by the Chambers of Commerce to promote the internationalization of Cádiz companies; an initiative that coincides with one of the founding objectives of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone.
In addition to the vocation of both public institutions, Irene García and Victoria Rodríguez agree on a novelty: they are the first women to occupy the presidencies of the entities they currently lead.
