The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz has awarded two plots of the Tahivilla Industrial Estate to the company Petrolificador de Tahivilla S.L., which will install a “low cost” gas station on those lands.” which, in addition to offering the public fuel at a price significantly lower than that of conventional gas stations, will offer a series of additional services related to the fuel sector and the agricultural sector.
The service station, the only one existing on the stretch of road between Vejer de la Frontera and Tarifa, will occupy a total area of about 1,100 m2 and will be dedicated to the sale of fuel, lubricating oils and butane bottles, as well as activities related to the automotive sector in general such as a convenience store, self-washing of vehicles and the sale of tires.
It will also offer services for the sale of fertilizers, elements and equipment for agricultural work, a very necessary element in the area where the establishment will be located, where a large part of the population is dedicated to agricultural tasks.
When allocating the plots, the Free Trade Zone has taken into account the services offered in the area where it will be located, which is in great need of this type of facility, which will involve an investment of close to 350,000 euros and initially six people will work there.
This award is part of the enhancement of assets by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, always at the service of the development of different municipalities in the province. The Tahivilla Industrial Estate, which began to be marketed in 2010 and is made up of plots of different sizes, has had little activity during this time and until now only one company dedicated to the supply and storage of paints had been installed there.
