Zona Franca and INCYDE close a business training program focused on artificial intelligence in Incubazul

The “Emprende y Avanza” initiative culminates with the presentation of business projects and the delivery of diplomas, after six weeks of specialized training and individualized advice.

The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Fran González, and the deputy to the general director of the INCYDE Foundation, José Antonio González-Elipe Rosales, participate in the closing ceremony held at Incubazul.

The Cádiz Free Zone and the INCYDE Foundation have closed the training program “Emprende y Avanza: Create your future with AI, simple tools for the business world” in the Incubazul building of the Cádiz Free Zone, an initiative co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), in which 24 people have participated and whose objective is to facilitate the incorporation of artificial intelligence into business activity, promote entrepreneurship and improve employability opportunities.

The closing ceremony included the participation of the State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Fran González, and the deputy to the general director of the INCYDE Foundation, José Antonio González-Elipe Rosales, who accompanied the students in the presentation of projects and the subsequent delivery of diplomas.

The program, free and in-person, began on September 28 and took place for six weeks at the Incubazul facilities. The training has combined joint sessions with individual tutorials, with the aim of providing knowledge and tools that allow taking advantage of the possibilities of artificial intelligence in the creation, management and consolidation of business initiatives.

The initiative has been aimed at both people with a business idea and those seeking to improve their digital skills to access the labor market, as well as companies interested in increasing their competitiveness, improving their profitability or exploring new growth opportunities.

The program has addressed different fundamental areas for the development of a business, from the initial validation of ideas and the definition of business strategies to the practical application of artificial intelligence tools, data analysis, digital marketing, search engine positioning and financial and legal-fiscal management. Likewise, specific sessions have been given on equal opportunities, sustainability, professional guidance and data protection.

Of the 24 participants, around 46% are women and a quarter were self-employed at the start of the training. As a result of the program, 12 business plans, five employability plans and seven business improvement plans have been developed, aimed at promoting new initiatives, strengthening existing businesses and improving the professional opportunities of students.

During the closing ceremony, two projects were presented: “GO USA Exchange Scholarships”, by Jorge Jaime Puigdomenech del Coso, and “M.E.S.A. (Many European Sitting Around/Many European Sitting Around)”, by Clotilde Vela-Hidalgo Contreras. The day concluded with the delivery of diplomas to the participating students.

The celebration of this program is part of the collaboration agreement signed on March 3, 2026 between the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium and the INCYDE Foundation, which contemplates the development of four training actions this year.

This collaboration reinforces the commitment of both entities to promoting entrepreneurship, improving professional skills and incorporating new technologies into the productive fabric, making it easier for both entrepreneurs and companies to adapt to the challenges of an increasingly digitalized economic environment.

The program is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), within the framework of the State Program for Employment, Education, Training and Social Economy 2021-2027 (EFESO), through the INCYDE Foundation and the Cadiz Free Zone Consortium.
