The event brought together companies, entrepreneurs and entities from strategic sectors such as port logistics, blue biotechnology, engineering, renewable energies and the circular economy in Santander.
Blue Core en Ruta continues to weave a network of collaboration between the main territories of the Blue Economy to promote new business and innovation opportunities.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has made a new Blue Core en Ruta stop this week, the initiative with which it is traveling through different territories in Spain to bring the opportunities of the Blue Economy closer and consolidate a network of collaboration between companies, entrepreneurs, institutions and agents linked to the maritime-marine field.
The conference took place on Tuesday in the Multipurpose Room of the Bisalia Building, in the Cantabria Science and Technology Park (PCTCAN) and brought together companies and entrepreneurs from strategic sectors of the Blue Economy, such as coastal and maritime tourism, ports and port logistics, aquaculture and fishing, blue biotechnology, engineering and robotics, renewable energies, the integral water cycle, the circular economy and sustainable development.
Blue Core en Ruta was born with the purpose of connecting territories, generating alliances and bringing the Blue Core ecosystem closer to those spaces where innovation, technology and entrepreneurship find in the sea an opportunity to create economic and social value.
Under this philosophy, the Santander stop became a meeting space to promote the transfer of knowledge, collaboration and the generation of new development opportunities linked to the Blue Economy, reinforcing connections between companies, technology centers, institutions and entrepreneurs.
During the day, the Blue Core ecosystem was presented, the initiative promoted by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone to support the creation, growth and consolidation of business projects linked to the maritime-marine environment. Through its specialized acceleration programs, internationalization, access to financing and personalized strategic services, Blue Core accompanies entrepreneurs, startups and companies in the different stages of their development, facilitating access to specialized knowledge, new business opportunities and strategic connections.
The program also included the round table "Networks to promote the economy and the blue company: Hydrostore Project", in which representatives of the CTC Technology Center, Leading Metal Mechanic Solutions and Astander participated, who shared experiences and reflections on innovation and collaboration in the field of the Blue Economy. The day concluded with a networking breakfast designed to encourage the exchange of experiences and the generation of new synergies between participants.
With Santander, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone continues to reinforce the positioning of Blue Core as one of the main ecosystems to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the Blue Economy of our country, promoting a growth model based on collaboration, the transfer of knowledge and the creation of opportunities linked to the maritime-marine environment.
The Blue Core project is 85% financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain 2021-2027, within the framework of priority P1A of the Nurseries 4.0 High Technology Incubators Program, intended to promote a digital and intelligent transition.
