Being part of the entity, dependent on the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Cádiz Consortium will be a point of reference to offer support and advice to companies and entrepreneurs
The Executive Committee of the Consortium has given its approval this week to the incorporation of the Cádiz Institution as a member center of the network
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone takes another step in its commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship for economic development by becoming part of the PIDI Network, a network of strategic points whose objective is to support and advise the business community promoted by the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), an entity dependent on the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
The Executive Committee of the Cádiz Consortium has given its approval in its last session held this week to the incorporation of the Cádiz Institution to this network. The Network of Information Points on Research, Development and Innovation (PIDI Network) works to offer information and advice on the most convenient lines of support depending on the technological and business projects of the applicants, covering all administrative areas from local to international programs.
The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, in its permanent commitment to promoting the economic and business fabric of its area of influence, is an ideal entity to be part of the PIDI Network, of which those whose competences include promotion and advice to companies and entrepreneurs can be part.
Furthermore, the Cádiz Consortium is immersed in the implementation of a new industry 4.0 model, more innovative and sustainable, which goes in parallel and is directly linked to the CDTI guidelines, whose purpose is to promote innovation and technological development of Spanish companies.
The member entities of the PIDI Network respond with their own means and resources to requests for information and advice on public financing of R&D&I received in their geographical and sectoral scope, registering them in the network's information management system. They also hold events in collaboration with the CDTI, with the aim of disseminating public financing instruments and programs for R&D&I and facilitating business technological cooperation.
The PIDI Network is an instrument of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), a public business entity, dependent on the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, which promotes innovation and technological development of Spanish companies, developing instruments and programs and channeling requests for help and support for R&D&I projects of Spanish companies at the national and international levels.
