The Cádiz Free Zone has celebrated a new scale of its Blue Core en Ruta program, a series of presentations of the Blue Economy project and its ecosystem in different cities to bring the opportunities of the sector to different territories with a strong link with the sea, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Today's event was held in Almería, organized together with the capital's City Council and with the collaboration of the Maritime-Marine Cluster of Andalusia (CMMA), and brought together institutional representatives, companies, entrepreneurs and entities from the maritime-marine field with the aim of generating new opportunities for collaboration and continuing to strengthen the Andalusian Blue Economy ecosystem.

During the meeting, the Blue Core ecosystem was presented, the initiative promoted by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone to support the creation, growth and consolidation of business projects linked to the Blue Economy. Through specialized acceleration, internationalization, financing and personalized strategic services programs, Blue Core accompanies entrepreneurs and companies in their different stages of development, facilitating access to specialized knowledge, new business opportunities and strategic connections.

The conference has also made it possible to launch sectoral working groups focused on strategic areas for the Blue Economy, such as the integral water cycle, living marine resources, coastal and maritime tourism, nautical and sports, as well as maritime transport, logistics and shipbuilding.

These work spaces are designed to identify shared challenges, detect new development opportunities and promote cooperation between companies, knowledge centers and institutions, promoting innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainable growth of the sector.

After passing through cities such as Málaga, Barcelona, Vigo and Murcia, Blue Core en Ruta continues to consolidate a network of collaboration between territories and agents of the blue ecosystem, with the purpose of connecting talent, sharing knowledge and generating new business opportunities around the sea.

The day concluded with a networking space designed to promote the exchange of experiences and the generation of new synergies between companies, entities and institutions linked to the Blue Economy.

With this new stop, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone continues to reinforce the positioning of Blue Core as one of the main ecosystems to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the Blue Economy of our country, promoting a growth model based on collaboration, knowledge and the creation of business opportunities linked to the sea.

The Blue Core project is 85% financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain 2021-2027, within the framework of priority P1A of the Nurseries 4.0 High Technology Incubators Program, intended to promote a digital and intelligent transition.
