Zona Franca de Cádiz hosts the screening of “ESPARTES”, the documentary about the Iberian orca narrated by José Coronado

The Heracles building was the scene yesterday afternoon of the broadcast of an international documentary promoted by Consultora Trafalgar, a company in the Blue Core ecosystem, and focused on the conservation of the Iberian orca.

The work, narrated by José Coronado and produced by Sea Shepherd France, addresses from a scientific perspective the interactions between the orcas of the Strait of Gibraltar and human activity.

Yesterday afternoon, the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz hosted the screening of “ESPARTES: Chronicles of the Iberian Orca”, a feature-length documentary produced by Sea Shepherd France and narrated by actor José Coronado that offers a rigorous and scientific look at one of the most unique and endangered orca populations in the world.

The activity, promoted by Trafalgar Environmental Consultant, a company integrated into the Blue Core ecosystem, took place in the Heracles building in the Free Trade Zone and, after the screening, a discussion took place with Marc Nieto, co-director of the work and member of Sea Shepherd France, with whom the attendees were able to interact.

The initiative is part of the actions promoted by Blue Core to promote knowledge of the marine environment, scientific dissemination and awareness about the challenges and opportunities associated with the Blue Economy, promoting a greater connection between citizenship, sustainability and ocean conservation.

The Blue Core project is 85% financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain 2021-2027, within the framework of priority P1A of the Nurseries 4.0 High Technology Incubators Program, intended to promote a digital and intelligent transition.
