The Assessment and Orientation Center of the Government of Andalusia for people with disabilities is installed in the Free Trade Zone

The entity will occupy several modules on the second floor of the Atlas building in the Cadiz tax area with a total area of ​​1,463 m2

The Assessment and Orientation Center of the Government of Andalusia for people with disabilities will be installed in the Atlas building in the tax area of ​​the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz. This has been ratified by the State delegate in the Cádiz Consortium, Fran González, and the provincial delegate of Social Inclusion, Youth and Families of the Andalusian Government, Alfonso Candón, during the signing of the lease contract that took place today at the Headquarters. of the Free Zone.

The entity, dependent on the Department of Social Inclusion, Youth and Families of the Government of Andalusia, is the reference center in which the assessment of the degree of disability is carried out, in addition to offering guidance and advice and different procedures for people with disabilities. disability and will occupy 1,463 m2 on the second floor of the Atlas building, a facility with easy access from the main entrance to the Cádiz tax precinct.

The modules that will house the new facilities of the center will need some adaptation works to adapt it to the needs of the organization, such as setting up facilities, equipment and supplies, divisions of rooms to locate personnel, etc. The total amount of the work to be carried out, which the Free Zone will be in charge of, is 771,400 euros and the execution period will be 10 months.

The ease of access from the city entrance, the 24-hour security conditions and the supply of parking spaces, with high-rise parking in front of the building, are characteristics of great importance for people who need to use this service. , where procedures of great importance for citizens related to dependency, mobility or different degrees of disability are carried out.

Today's signing confirms one of the premises of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, the promotion of joint work and collaboration between the different administrations for the benefit of the development of projects and the socioeconomic fabric. In addition, the new location will contribute to the reorganization of the different administrative spaces available to the Consortium, all in the search for an improvement in the equipment that will result in attention to citizens.
