The presence of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone at the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) in Barcelona is proving to be very effective in terms of contacts and promotion of the activity and equipment of the Cádiz Consortium. Throughout the day, the Cádiz Free Zone stand has registered important activity, being the scene of commercial and institutional contacts.
After the previous day yesterday with the opening at the Logistics Night and the delivery of 43 recognitions to different personalities in the logistics sector chaired by King Felipe VI, the delegate of the State of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, attended today the official opening ceremony, which was led by the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez.
Throughout the day, the person in charge of the Cádiz Consortium has held various institutional, national and international meetings, and has visited stands of different companies and entities in the exhibitor area. In parallel, the Business Promotion Area team that traveled to Barcelona has promoted commercial contacts around the Cádiz Free Trade Zone stand, which promotes the Consortium's equipment with special emphasis on the two tax precincts, in Cádiz and the Bay of Algeciras, and Incubazul.
Fran González has stated that "with the presence of the Consortium in this important international forum we want to strengthen our commercial strategy and show all our potential with facilities such as our two tax precincts, which serve to structure the logistics capacity of the province." The Cádiz delegate added that also "our Blue Economy incubator, Incubazul, is generating enormous interest. We are showing the province of Cádiz as the perfect setting to be a privileged nucleus in this sector, since our land has ideal characteristics for the development of initiatives related to the seas and oceans."
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has reinforced its presence this year at the SIL in Barcelona, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2023, with a larger stand in order to give new impetus to the commercial strategy being carried out by the Consortium. Cadiz to attract investments to the province of Cádiz.
The International Logistics Exhibition has the participation of more than 650 exhibiting companies, 40% of them international, 400 speakers, will bring together more than 14,000 registered visitors and will host five simultaneous international conferences.
