Cadiz, October 12, 2022
The State delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, received this morning in Seville the Gala Tricorn of the Civil Guard during the institutional event held at the headquarters of the Headquarters of the 4th Zone of the Civil Guard of Andalusia on the occasion of the day of the Virgin of Pilar, patron saint of the Corps.
This recognition is granted annually in order to recognize the collaboration, merits, actions and services carried out by certain people and institutions and specifically in this case the Cádiz Consortium has been distinguished for its special and close collaboration with the Commands of Cádiz and Algeciras and with the Headquarters of the 4th Zone of Andalusia.
The relationship between the Cádiz Free Trade Zone and the Civil Guard is close and old since the Benemérita is in charge of the surveillance and security of the Cádiz tax precinct and will also do so with that of the Bay of Algeciras when it is launched shortly.
Their connection is now even stronger since the Civil Guard is going to install two of its units in the fiscal precinct of Cádiz, specifically in the so-called cross building on the land that belonged to Altadis. The Strait Maritime Group and the Maritime Service Improvement Center of the Civil Guard will soon begin operating there.
Fran González thanked the Civil Guard for the recognition and highlighted the importance of collaboration between institutions for the development and proper functioning of all sectors. “I am convinced that cooperation and joint work between all institutions, between administrations, is always a benefit for the citizen.”
