SDA will carry out the transfer of the documentary collections to its facilities in Algeciras, where it will carry out digitization, consultation and confidential destruction services.

The delegate of the Free Trade Zone, Fran González, is satisfied with the signing of this contract, which is of great importance due to the volume of documentation to be managed, which reaches 3,400 linear meters.

The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, through its public company Servicios Documentales de Andalucía (SDA), will be in charge of the comprehensive management of the archive of the Official College of Architects of Málaga after the signing of a contract by which the Cádiz Consortium entity will proceed to carry out different specialized document management services.

These works include inventory services, transfer, custody, digitization, consultations and confidential destruction of the archives of the Malaga school, which reaches a total of 3,400 linear meters of documentation.

The delegate of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Fran González, has expressed satisfaction with the signing of this contract with the College of Architects of Malaga, which he has considered “of great importance for SDA, not only because of the enormous amount of documentation that must be managed but also because of the relevance of the organization.”

The head of the Cádiz Institution has also alluded to the duration of the contract, which will be 5 years, and which can also serve to share synergies with a group "with whom we also have a lot of work in common."

González has stressed that this public company from the Free Zone of Cádiz "has extensive experience in this type of contracts with public and private entities and institutions and administrations, with a specialization in the treatment, coding, management and custody of documentation from the hospital sector and the customs sector."

SDA will carry out its usual protocol in this type of contracts, starting with the study of all the archives of the College of Architects at its headquarters, proceeding to the referencing, inventory and transfer of the documentation to the standardized containers that SDA uses and that have sufficient resistance to carry out transport to the SDA headquarters and handling, as well as to guarantee the conservation of the documentary collections in an optimal environment in terms of temperature and humidity, and free of contaminating and/or destructive biological elements.

All documentation owned by the Official College of Architects of Malaga will be kept and managed in an SDA custody center with all the safety standards established for this type of facilities: detection and extinction of fires, periodic pest control, civil liability insurance, access only to authorized personnel and surveillance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The College of Architects of Málaga will have at its disposal an agile service for locating, consulting and delivering the documentation in custody, thanks to an efficient physical filing system in its facilities, a certified work methodology and an agile computer system that allows the required documentation to be located effectively.

The contract, which involves a large amount of documentation to be processed and digitized, includes the verification and uploading of the files to the platform owned by the Official College of Architects of Malaga, as well as the confidential destruction of documents if necessary, always under selection, authorization and approval of the Official College of Architects of Malaga.
