The City Council of Puerto Real and Zona Franca are looking for formulas to liquidate a 2007 agreement

The City Council owes the Consortium 3.5 million euros that it paid then for a commercial promotion that was never carried out.

Both institutions are articulating the mechanisms to compensate this debt without affecting liquidity

The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz and the Puerto Real City Council are looking for the ideal formula to make effective the liquidation of an agreement signed between the Cádiz Institution and the Puerto Real City Council in 2007. This was stated by the Consortium delegate, Fran González, and the first mayor of the municipality, Elena Amaya, in a meeting held yesterday in which they were accompanied by technicians from both administrations.

The agreement affected the land of the old Sancho Dávila football field where a series of actions were going to be carried out that ultimately were not carried out and for which Zona Franca paid 3.5 million euros. Both institutions are now trying to articulate the most favorable mechanisms to compensate the debt by the Consistory without affecting liquidity.
