Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, the State delegate, Fran González, and part of the management team will present the main business lines of the Consortium in this important international event that is a reference for the new economy, which is held in Barcelona and brings together 11,000 companies.
The Cádiz Free Zone will participate starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 5, in the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW), an event organized by the Barcelona Free Zone Consortium (CZFB) and which in its second edition is already a reference for the new economy as a large multi-sector B2B hybrid forum.
Following the impulse that the Consortium is giving to its promotion and marketing area, the Special Delegate of the State, Fran González, and part of the technical and management team travel to Barcelona to present the main lines of management and promote the tax precincts of Cádiz and the Bay of Algeciras as strategic spaces for investment. Thus, Fran González will participate on Wednesday the 6th in a meeting on Economic Zones in Spain together with the delegates of the Free Zones of Vigo, Barcelona or Gran Canaria, among others.
Previously, on Tuesday the 5th, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone will also present its commitment to the Blue Economy through the Zona Base and Incubazul project, in a monographic panel on the network of High Technology incubators launched by the INCYDE Foundation of the Chambers of Commerce with the support of the FEDER Funds, which are proving to be a fundamental tool in the transfer of R&D to companies.
This second edition of the BNEW will bring together 11,000 companies in Barcelona, of which more than 1,000 are start-ups, multiplying the figures from the previous edition. In addition, this year BNEW reaches 80% internationality since it will have attendees from 145 countries. The largest participation comes from Spain, Venezuela and Colombia, strengthening the positioning of the Barcelona Free Zone with Latin America.
In terms of themes, transversal themes such as Sustainability, Science, Mobility, Talent and City have been added to the usual Logistics, Real Estate, E-commerce, Digital Industry and Economic Zones.
Likewise, it should also be noted that 50% of the BNEW speakers will be women, making it an event with real parity.
