The company Olivia Petroleum downloads 7,000 metric tons of biodiesel
The Free Zone of Cádiz has recovered the traffic operations of energy products, absent since 2003, thanks to the company Olivia Petroleum, which has downloaded on the Ribera dock, in the interior venue of the consortium, some 7,000 metric tons of biodiesel.
The operation has been developed on this dock due to the proximity with the storage terminal that Olivia Petroleum has in the interior enclosure of the free zone. Specifically, the company has been able to successfully discharge 7,000 metric tons of FAME (a type of biodiesel with degrees) coming directly from Port Klang (Malaysia).
It is the first operation of this type that the Free Zone of Cádiz hosts in the last 15 years. It corroborates the opportunities of the interior enclosure for the import and export of products for what is known as a “Trading Company”, a company that covers the entire export and import operation or acts as a warehouse for third parties.
The Olivia Petroleum storage terminal has brought from Malaysia the biodiesel and then distributed it in other countries, with the tax advantages that it has to do so in the interior enclosure of the Gaditana Free Zone.
This first operation has been carried out successfully this past weekend, as explained by the company, without discrepancy in the amounts managed between the parties involved. Currently Olivia Petroleum is waiting to define the definitive programming of the rest of the downloads for the download until the end of 2018.
Olivia Petroleum is a company installed in the Free Zone of Cádiz, a strategic location to cover Mediterranean and the European/African traffic.
Its activity revolves around the lease of tancaje or storage facilities, national and international transport of goods by road, wholesale trade of energy products and all kinds of merchandise, exclusively within the areas and frank deposits port and airport.
