The Free Zone of Cádiz and the Argentine Free Zone of Bahía Blanca + Coronel Rosales exchange strategies on international trade

The State delegate, Alfonso Pozuelo, receives the director of the Latin American entity, Gustavo Bellozas, who visits the Consortium to resume the lines of work opened at the XXI Conference of Free Zones of the Americas held recently in Tenerife

Pozuelo and Bellozas have analyzed possible avenues of collaboration within the framework of the Atlantic Free Corridor Memorandum, which aims to guarantee connectivity between America, Europe and Africa through free zones

During the meeting, Alfonso Pozuelo explained the strengths of the Free Trade Zone and the province due to its strategic position and its experience in commercial activity with Latin America.

The director of the Argentine Free Zone of Bahía Blanca + Coronel Rosales, Gustavo Bellozas, visited the Cádiz Free Zone this morning and held an institutional meeting with the State delegate, Alfonso Pozuelo, in which they resumed the open relationship during the XXI Conference of Free Zones of the Americas that was held in Tenerife from November 1 to 4.

Bellozas was not able to participate in the Cádiz Mission, which brought together representatives from several Latin American free zones in the Cadiz capital to participate in networking with companies and entities on this side of the Atlantic, but his interest in seeing first-hand the facilities of the Cádiz Free Zone has materialized today.

In this way, the person in charge of the Argentine free zone held a meeting with Alfonso Pozuelo in which both analyzed possible lines of joint work and exchanged information about the strengths and potential of each of their free zones.

The Bahía Blanca+Coronel Rosales Free Trade Zone is part of the Atlantic Free Trade Corridor, to which the Cádiz Free Trade Zone joined and of which free zones from more than 30 countries are already part. It should be noted that the next edition of the Conference of Free Zones of the Americas will take place precisely in Argentina, in Iguazú, an event in which this Argentine free zone will have a special role.

Finally, the representative of the Argentine free zone took a tour of the Tax Precinct, in which he was accompanied by technicians from the Consortium, who explained to him the operation of the companies located - he saw the facilities of one of the logistics operators - and the activity of the Cádiz Free Zone.

Gustavo Bellozas was very satisfied with the visit and very interested in how the operations of the Cádiz Free Zone, also very interesting due to its strategic location, and its diversity, could be materialized in future lines of business for the expansion of the activity of its free zone.
