The business complex of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone in Jerez de la Frontera, composed of the Convento San Agustín Building and the Las Caballerizas Business Center, is becoming the reference business center of the historic center of the city.

In recent weeks, new companies have settled in this building, the result of the work being carried out by the Consortium to put on the market a wide range of business and industrial equipment throughout the province of Cádiz, offering a response to the demand of the business community that makes up the logistical triangle formed by the Bay of Cádiz, the Bay of Algeciras and Jerez-Campiña.

In fact, Zona Franca is carrying out an active and in-person information campaign in all its business centers, spread throughout the province, and has also reinforced the marketing of this business complex in Jerez, where practically 50% of the business is already occupied. the spaces.

The Convento San Agustín business complex houses companies with various activities, such as comprehensive business services; advertising and marketing; digital media editing; legal advice; real estate; graphic design; general legal services; audiovisual production; non-profit organization and event organization.

The Jerez business complex combines tradition and modernity. With the rehabilitation work carried out to develop this facility, Zona Franca also recovers a building built in the 17th century and of great historical and architectural value.

In fact, this Saturday guided tours of the building began, within the “Know your heritage” program, launched by the City Council's Culture Delegation.

Zona Franca has done important work to recover this heritage, including the cistern that came to light with the work and is dated 1690.

The business center is built around the renovated cloister of what was the old church, built in 1624 and demolished in 1919. San Agustín later became a barracks for the infantry and then for the Civil Guard until it was abandoned, hence the lamentable state. that it presented and the merit of some work that has required the construction of 17 new arches and the restoration of another nine with stone brought from the quarry of the San Cristóbal mountain range, as well as the reconstruction of 16 vaults and the rehabilitation of 14, among other works.
