The Consortium begins the procedure to tender the urbanization work of the Commercial and Business Park, which has a budget of 5,452,535.61 euros
The Executive Committee of the Free Trade Zone has approved, in its meeting this Friday, the basic and execution project of the urbanization works of the Tiro Janer Industrial Estate and its supervision, which the Consortium entrusted to the company Ingeniería y Desarrollos del Sur, a procedure that completed the procedure to tender the work and which, with today's authorization from the Governing Body of the Consortium, gives way to the bidding for the urbanization.
The execution work for this action has a budget of 5,452,525.61 euros (VAT not included) and an execution period of 16 months.
It must be remembered that after the conscientious archaeological work and with the approval of Culture, the Consortium proceeded to contract in May the archaeological control of earth movements during the execution of the works that required removal of the land, as required by the Ministry in a report sent to the Free Trade Zone at the end of 2015.
The archaeological work on the plot concluded with the recovery and transfer of the remains found to the Consortium, in provisional storage awaiting a more suitable place for their exhibition. Specifically, the cataloged remains correspond to eight ovens, three groups of amphorae and up to 45 burials, initially dated between the 1st and 3rd centuries BC.
The development of the Tiro Janer Commercial and Business Park involves an investment of 6.2 million euros, of which around 600,000 euros correspond to the archaeological intervention that has been carried out.
The park will have a maximum construction of approximately 60,000 m2, for which there are already closed companies that will settle in this Commercial and Business Park.
