ADACCA will expand its facilities in the Poniente Business Center of the Free Zone in Cádiz

The Consortium Contracting Board proceeded to open the offer presented by the entity, which will add 215 m2 to the current 800 m2

The new facilities will host the child rehabilitation service, among other activities, and will expand the current coverage to users

The Association of Relatives of Patients with Acquired Brain Injury of Cádiz (ADACCA) will expand its current facilities and services in the capital's Poniente Business Park, with an additional 215m2, which will allow them to offer greater coverage in their services, according to the offer presented to the Free Trade Zone.

ADACCA had already shown its interest in expanding its facilities in a meeting held at the end of May with the State delegate in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, and thus the Consortium's Contracting Board proceeded on Friday to open the formal offer, in which the entity opts for two modules of different sizes of the recently remodeled Poniente Business and Entrepreneur Center.

With this expansion in its current facilities, which have a total of 800 m2 that includes a Day Stay Unit with a capacity of 54 arranged places, ADACCA will have the opportunity to improve the services and diversify the Association's activities, expanding the coverage it currently offers to patients and families.

In this way, ADACCA will have two modules, of 183 and 32 m2 respectively, which among other activities will allow having a specific place for the Childhood Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service, from which 28 minors are cared for and whose number could be expanded to 50 children in the new building.

In addition, the entity has launched an Autonomy and Social Inclusion program, from which 20 people benefit, which can be carried out with greater comfort, while the facilities will also accommodate associative activities, such as meetings of the Board of Directors, assemblies, coordination meetings, etc.

It is worth remembering that the Free Trade Zone traditionally collaborates with this type of entities dedicated to social purposes and in fact there are lines of collaboration in addition to ADACCA with other associations or entities such as the Food Bank, Spanish Red Cross, Cáritas or Autismo Cádiz. In fact, these types of entities benefit from special bonuses for carrying out a social purpose.
