The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, visited this Wednesday the adaptation work of the so-called League Preparation Plant (PPL), located on the plot of the old Altadis, already incorporated into the Cádiz tax precinct, and which Alestis will occupy starting this summer.
Jorge Ramos, accompanied by technical staff from the Consortium, supervised the work that began at the beginning of this month of June and which has an execution period of a month and a half for the first phase, essential to allow Alestis to be installed in the warehouse.
The Free Zone delegate received the explanations from those in charge of the work, which is carried out by Construcciones Sánchez Dominguez-Sando S.A., with a total execution period of 4 months and an award amount of 758,471.18 euros (VAT not included), which represented a 24% reduction compared to the tender budget, which was 997,906.68 euros (VAT not included).
Los trabajos se ejecutarán en dos fases, durante la primera de las cuales, que permitirá a Alestis iniciar su actividad en la instalación, se adecuará el pavimento en la mitad de la nave, se desarrollará una plataforma para descarga de camiones y otra para carga de camiones y rampas de acceso a la nave para circulación de camiones al interior de la misma, salvando un desnivel de 2 metros. Además, se llevará a cabo la reparación sobre la cubierta.
Hay que recordar que este equipamiento albergará el centro logístico que la empresa de fabricación de componentes aeronáuticos instalará en el Recinto Fiscal gaditano y que tendrá, además de los 13.500 m2 de nave, 250 m2 de oficinas en el edificio anexo.
La obra modernizará y adaptará la antigua nave industrial que perteneció a Altadis para el almacenamiento y gestión logística de elementos aeronáuticos, tanto piezas y conjuntos ensamblados como elementales.
