The work, which will have a total execution period of 4 months, will be carried out in two phases, the first one being a month and a half.
11 companies presented themselves to the Free Trade Zone Public Offer
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has awarded the work to adapt the so-called League Preparation Plant (PPL), located on the plot of the old Altadis, already incorporated into the Cádiz tax precinct, and which Alestis will occupy starting this summer. This was approved by the Executive Committee of the Consortium at its meeting held yesterday morning.
The company in charge of the work will be the UTE Dragados SA-Grulops 21 SL, with a completion period of 4 months and an award amount of 758,409.08 euros (VAT not included), which represents a 24% reduction compared to the tender budget, which was 997,906.68 euros (VAT not included). In the Public Offer, whose submission period ended last week, 11 companies presented themselves.
The work will be carried out in two phases, during the first of which, whose execution period is a month and a half, the pavement will be adapted in the middle of the warehouse, a platform will be developed for unloading trucks and another for loading trucks and access ramps to the warehouse for truck circulation inside it, overcoming a 2-meter difference in level. In addition, repairs will be carried out on the deck.
It will be when these first phase works are completed that the company that will occupy the warehouse, Alestis, can begin its activity which, according to all forecasts, will be during this summer.
