The new storage silo warehouse represents an important milestone for the promotion of economic activity in the capital, as it will increase the storage capacity of the agri-food company at 7,933 m3
The State delegate in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, has made a technical visit to the new facilities of Harinera Vilafranquina, which expand those the company already had in the Interior Precinct of the Free Zone of Cádiz, once the work was completed and shortly before its inauguration.
The works on the new silo warehouse for storage, mixing and bulk loading of flour that the Consortium has developed in collaboration with Harinera Vilafranquina in the Fiscal Area represent an important milestone for the capital, since it will generate important economic activity, by increasing the storage capacity of the agri-food company by 7,933 m3, with the consequent increase in its competitiveness and its reflection in the city's business environment.
The company in charge of the works was the UTE SACYR Construcciones SA-Pérez Jiménez Construcciones and the investment was 14 million euros, co-financed by European Funds.
La construcción, consistente en una instalación de silos metálicos aéreos destinados al acopio de harinas, tiene una superficie de 631,28 m2 con una altura de 47,10 m. Este módulo de silos va adyacente a los almacenes de grano existentes aunque separado del edificio existente de producción de harinas y conectado únicamente por una pasarela aérea en la parte superior.
The first level will be used for truck loading, clean production area, access, warehouses and compressor room. The following levels will be used for machinery and process equipment, while the last level will be used to fill the silos.
The investment in machinery, which consists of a weighing system, hoist, storage silos, installation of mechanical equipment, sanitary equipment, elevator and pallet racking, amounts to 8.3 million euros.
