The application submission period will remain open until December 14 at 2:00 p.m.
The selection criteria for the 14 warehouses, which are developed in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation, prioritize innovative newly created companies, among others.
The Consortium has already maintained contact with 20 interested parties for these facilities, which will be operational in the first quarter of 2016.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone published a few days ago the Public Offer for the submission of applications from companies that want to opt to settle in one of the 14 warehouses that the Cádiz Free Zone, in collaboration with the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation, is developing in the Marismas de Palmones Business and Technology Park (Los Barrios). The deadline for submitting offers ends at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, and the opening is scheduled for the following day, Tuesday, the 15th.
The bases of this Public Offer are published in the Contractor's Profile on the Consortium's Website and there you can find all the information in this regard, including the selection criteria, in which priority is given to newly created companies (less than two years), the innovative nature of the offer, the creation of direct employment, the planned investment volume and the start-up period of activity, among others.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone, which plans to have the 14 warehouses operational in the first quarter of 2016, will also take into account in the selection process the Feder guidelines and regulations and the guidelines set by the Incyde Foundation, taking into account that the project has been developed with the co-financing of Feder Funds, in addition to the collaboration of the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation.
At the moment, there are already 20 companies that have shown their interest in these facilities and have requested information about it, with the entrepreneurial sector of Campo de Gibraltar being one of the main recipients of the call.
The construction work of these 14 warehouses began in summer and is the result of the collaboration agreement signed with the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation.
The 14 warehouses that make up the business incubator, which are intended to promote the entrepreneurial fabric of the Region, have an area of between 212 and 226 m2 with a mezzanine and you can opt for one of them from 371 euros per month.
The work, which was carried out on a plot in front of the Quirón Hospital, was awarded to the company San José Constructora for an amount of 1,511,061.04 euros (VAT not included) and has a total investment of 2.8 million euros. Of this amount, 2 million euros have been for the construction of the nursery, eighty percent co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the INCYDE Foundation and the remaining twenty percent, by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium.
