The budget is 995,000 euros (VAT not included) and is co-financed by funds requested in the Feder de Andalucía Operational Framework 2007-2013

Six companies have submitted offers to carry out the works to comprehensively improve facilities and install new cold rooms at the Algeciras Free Warehouse (DALSE), located at the Isla Verde Dock.

The deadline for submitting offers for these works, which have a tender budget of 995,000 euros (VAT not included) co-financed by funds granted in the Feder de Andalucía 2007-2013 operational framework, ended last Thursday, November 12.

Once the offers have been received, the qualification process for them now begins, following the requirements set out in the specifications. The entire procedure will be reported in a timely manner through the Contractor's Profile on the website www.zonafrancacadiz.com.

The works, whose execution period is two months, contemplate a comprehensive improvement of the facilities with replacement of hydraulic platforms in the loading docks, placement of automatic doors between the warehouses, repair of roofs, signaling and painting work in general and installation of two cold rooms, among others.

The customs and fiscal deposit of Algeciras is composed of closed facilities perimeter and isolated from the rest of the port environment. It consists of four ships with a covered surface of approximately 8,400 m2 and an attached plot whose discovered surface is approximately 3,200 m2, equipped with ten docks for cargo and discharge of vehicles.
