The delegate of the Consortium closed the program with the delivery of diplomas to the participants, together with the president of the Chamber, the Director of Development of the Incyde Foundation and the mayor of Algeciras
The generation of 27 new jobs was the most notable fact of the closing of the Business Creation and Consolidation program that the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce organizes in collaboration with the Cádiz Free Trade Zone and the Chamber Institute for Business Creation and Development (Incyde Foundation).
Together with the president of the Chamber, Carlos Fenoy, the presentation of diplomas to the participants was attended by Jorge Ramos, special delegate of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium - co-financier of the program together with the European Social Fund - and Aurelio Jiménez, Director of Development of the INCYDE Foundation (Camera Institute for the Creation and Development of the Company) taught by the chamber entity. The event was also attended by the mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce.
Jorge Ramos expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved in relation to employment and the high participation that these training programs for companies and entrepreneurs have. “From Zona Franca we want to make a commitment to the training and quality of our companies,” said Ramos, who also had words to highlight the role fundamental that companies and entrepreneurs play as a dynamic element of the economy as well as for their indisputable contribution to the welfare state.
For his part, the president of the Chamber of Commerce congratulated the participants and thanked the close collaboration that the chamber entity has been maintaining with the Free Trade Zone in the implementation of different initiatives to benefit the business fabric of the region. “These programs offer us very positive results that reaffirm our policy of supporting companies and entrepreneurs for their contribution to the regional economy,” said Fenoy in relation to the balance of the program. The president of the Chamber explained that a total of 18 projects, almost fifty percent developed in the services sector, have benefited from this complete training and advice program, 15 of them corresponding to entrepreneurs and 3 to improvement plans for active companies.
In relation to the projects, Fenoy pointed out that their implementation will initially involve the creation of 27 new jobs. “A fact that stands out for its contribution to job creation, especially when almost 70 percent of the projects are expected to be launched immediately,” stressed the president of the Chamber.
The mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, for his part, wanted to highlight the role of the Chamber of Commerce as a driving element in the promotion of entrepreneurship in the region and the importance of the figure of the entrepreneur as an engine of economic growth.
Finally, the director of the INCYDE Foundation, Aurelio Jiménez, referred to the efforts that the Foundation makes to make quality training possible and the commitment of this entity to decisively support viable projects with the greatest possible guarantees of success.
