The delegate of the Free Trade Zone receives the mayor of Prado del Rey at the Consortium headquarters

Jorge Ramos and José Ramón Becerra explore the possibility of carrying out nest ship actions that favor the establishment of entrepreneurs

In the coming days, technicians from both institutions will meet in the mountain municipality to analyze possible options and advance their technical study.

EThe Special Delegate of the State in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, received the mayor of Prado del Rey, José Ramón Becerra, yesterday morning at the Consortium's Headquarters.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Consortium's Commercial Director, Javier Gutiérrez, both parties explored the possibility of the Free Trade Zone having an effective presence in the municipality and, along these lines, it was proposed to develop a nest warehouse project that favors and promotes the establishment of entrepreneurs in the municipality.

To advance this proposal, in the next few days, Zona Franca managers will travel to the mountain municipality to have a meeting with municipal technicians and analyze the conditions and technical details necessary to undertake the warehouses, as well as the needs of the young business community in the area to channel the action and thus cover their needs, in order to formalize a protocol of intentions that includes the development of the project and that is finally reflected in an executive agreement.

This meeting is part of the line of cooperation between institutions carried out by the Cádiz Free Zone with different town councils and entities, in order to promote economic and business activity and job creation in the province.

It is worth remembering that the Cádiz Consortium has already undertaken in recent years a set of 28 nest ships in Rota and another, inaugurated last week, of 10 nest ships in Ubrique, in collaboration with the Cádiz Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation.
