Jorge Ramos and Juan Manuel Bermúdez explored the possibility of carrying out an industrial estate in the municipality, next to the A-48
In the coming days, technicians from both institutions will meet in Conil to advance the development of the action and formalize a protocol of intentions for its promotion.
Yesterday morning, the Special Delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, received the mayor of Conil, Juan Manuel Bermúdez, at the Consortium's Headquarters.
During the meeting, both parties explored the possibility of the Free Trade Zone having an effective presence in the municipality and, along these lines, a possible action has been proposed in relation to the development of an industrial estate planned in the General Urban Planning Plan of Conil, in an area adjacent to the A-48 highway.
To advance this proposal, in the next few days, Zona Franca managers will travel to Conil to have a meeting with municipal technicians and analyze the technical details of the action, as well as the needs of the business community in the area to channel the action to be developed and thus formalize a protocol of intentions that includes the development of the project and that is finally reflected in an executive agreement.
This meeting is part of the line of cooperation between institutions carried out by the Cádiz Free Zone with different town councils and entities, in order to promote economic and business activity and job creation in the province.
