Yesterday afternoon, the Undersecretary of Finance and Public Administrations, Pilar Platero, inaugurated the business incubator that the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has completed in Ubrique, in collaboration with the Cádiz Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation. Pilar Platero was accompanied at the event by the State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, as well as by the president of the Cádiz Chamber of Commerce, Angel Juan Pascual, and the director of Feder Projects of the Incyde Foundation, Natalia Vázquez, in addition to the mayor of the municipality, Isabel Gómez, and other authorities and technicians from the Free Trade Zone and the company in charge of the works.

The Undersecretary of the Treasury was satisfied with the quality of the facilities and congratulated the Ubrique businessmen and in particular the entrepreneurs in the area, who will be able to start or consolidate their activities with advantageous conditions.

Pilar Platero also congratulated the entities involved in the project – Zona Franca, Chamber of Commerce of Cádiz and Fundación Incyde – and praised the work that Zona Franca is doing in the last three years. In addition, he highlighted the support of the Government of Spain to the province of Cádiz and to companies through the Reindus and Feder Funds.

The delegate of the Free Zone, for his part, thanked the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Finance at the event and was pleased with the completion of this important facility for the Cadiz mountain range, which comes to light thanks to the collaboration and institutional loyalty between the organizations that are part of the project, aimed at meeting the demand of the mountain business fabric with a modern, functional infrastructure that would provide added value to both their activities and the environment.

Jorge Ramos emphasized the support that the Free Zone offers to entrepreneurs and once again encouraged all businessmen to benefit from the advantages and facilities of the Free Zone and this specific project, whose purpose since its inception has been to improve business management through the creation of a Business Incubator that allows contemplating a business fabric more in line with the new technological and organizational structures.

The construction of the 10 warehouses that make up the inaugurated Business Incubator has involved a total investment of 1.4 million euros, including the acquisition of the land from the Cádiz Chamber of Commerce.

In parallel with the work, which has been carried out in a shorter time than the expected period, the Consortium has been making progress in the marketing of the warehouses, holding pre-marketing sessions with direct contact with the businessmen who have been personally informed of the prices and characteristics of the warehouses, which can be purchased from 233 euros per month for a 133 m2 warehouse and 257 euros per month for one of 147 m2.2.
