The CEC headquarters has been the scene of the presentation of this event, which will bring together a good number of businesswomen in the Plaza de San Antonio in November.
The Chief of Staff of the Free Trade Zone congratulated the businesswomen and encouraged them to count on the Consortium “as a traveling companion.”
The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz collaborates with the Association of Business Women (AMEP) in the organization of Womens Weekend, the largest women's business festival in the province of Cádiz, which will take place on November 13, 14 and 15 in the Plaza de San Antonio de Cádiz.
Representing the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, who is attending the Meeting of Spanish Free Zones held in Tenerife, the Chief of Staff of the Free Zone, Tania Barcelona, participated in the presentation of the event that took place this morning at the headquarters of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Cádiz (CEC), in which were also present, in addition to the president of AMEP Nuria Sánchez Perdigones, the president of the CEC, Javier Sánchez Rojas, the Councilor for Development, Tourism and Commerce of the Cádiz City Council, Laura Jiménez, the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE), Jesús Belgrano, and the representative of the Obra social La Caixa, as well as collaborating entities such as the Chamber of Commerce of Cádiz, FEMCA and the Federation of Commerce of the province of Cádiz.
The representative of the Free Trade Zone explained that the Consortium works with the premise of institutional collaboration and cited the agreements with different business associations and chambers of commerce. In this sense, he congratulated the businesswomen for this initiative and encouraged them to count on the Free Zone “as a traveling companion” in any action aimed at promoting economic activity and job creation.
Womens Weekend is a cooperation initiative promoted by nine associations of businesswomen and professionals in the province of Cádiz associated with the AMEP that aims to take advantage of synergies and achieve better business positioning and the visibility of women's businesses in the global market. The festival will coincide with the closing of the events related to the association's 18th anniversary.
