The Cádiz Free Trade Zone wants to shorten the deadlines as much as possible so that the company Suministros Puerto y Bahía S.L. is installed in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz and has already prepared the project to tender the work in the shortest possible time. In fact, next week he will present the project and request the license at the Cádiz City Council.
The logistics company will occupy the last large plot of the Fiscal Precinct in the capital, measuring 6,200 m2, which was put up for Public Offer last February. The firm will centralize its facilities in this industrial space, where it will have 4,700 m2 of warehouse and 1,500 m2 of patio. The project has a planned investment of more than 6 million euros and a workforce of 100 workers that will increase by 7-10% annually.
The new facilities will consist of a warehouse for all types of merchandise, refrigeration chambers and five loading docks, as well as offices, meeting rooms, archives and changing rooms.
The new plant in the Cadiz tax area will allow the company, which carries out tasks of supplying all types of merchandise to ships that carry out international maritime navigation and trade operations, to improve its performance, optimize resources and increase its competitiveness, creating a central purchasing and improving and expanding its facilities and offices, in addition to diversifying business sectors with a naval workshop and cold chambers, which will also favor synergy and triangular activities within the business group in which it is integrated.
With this addition, the Cádiz Free Zone is close to 100% occupancy in its Cádiz Tax Precinct, while important companies are already confirming their installation in the facilities included in the large expansion project and expansion to other municipalities in the province such as Los Barrios, in El Fresno, where four large industries have already confirmed their installation.
