This action comes to light after the signing of the agreement signed last May between Jorge Ramos and Miguel Urraca, president of the CEEI, with the aim of providing accommodation to companies and entrepreneurs who start their activity under advantageous conditions.

In order to speed up the deadlines, Zona Franca already requested the corresponding construction license in the middle of the month.
At its meeting last Friday, the Executive Committee of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone authorized the tender for the works for the adaptation of warehouse 28 - included in the set of warehouses promoted by the Consortium in the Villa De Rota industrial estate - for use as a Business Center of the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz Foundation, which will house entrepreneurs and liberal professionals who begin their activity in very advantageous conditions, generating economic activity and employment in the city.
The works, which are co-financed by funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, have a tender budget of 349,285.06 euros (VAT not included) and an execution period of 3 months, so the update will be completed by the end of the year. The deadline for submitting offers is until August 24, at 2:00 p.m.
Once the offers are received, the qualification process will proceed, following the requirements demanded in the specifications. The opening of technical offers is scheduled for September 1, at 12:00 p.m., information about which will be made available in a timely manner through the Contractor's Profile on the website. www.zonafrancacadiz.com.

It is worth remembering that this project is carried out thanks to the institutional collaboration that materialized with the signing last May of an agreement between the State delegate in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz, Miguel Urraca, by which the Foundation will be installed in the aforementioned warehouse 28 and the Free Zone will carry out the adaptation works.
The basic and execution project, prepared by the Technical Office of the Free Zone, contemplates the installation of the CEEI incubator on an area of 565 m2, distributed on the ground and first floors, with 20 offices of between 10.49 m2 and 25.16 m2 to accommodate companies and entrepreneurs. The Center also plans to offer services and use of complementary infrastructure to the accommodation, such as meeting rooms of 10.49 m2 and a training room of 30.09 m2, as well as the implementation of the services from the CEEI Foundation catalog in the town of Rota.
With the development of the project to launch the CEEI business incubator, Zona Franca once again ratifies its founding objective, which is none other than economic development and employment promotion, as well as the provision of necessary services for the constitution and establishment of business projects in order to energize the socio-economic fabric in the area, generating wealth and employment.
