The Los Barrios City Council has signed the process for the work, the first stone of which will be laid next Friday
The Executive Committee of the Consortium has already approved the rates for these ships, an action resulting from the agreement between the Free Trade Zone, the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation.
Those interested can opt for a 212 m2 space from 371 euros per month, prices well below the market in the area.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone already has the construction license granted by the Los Barrios City Council and which will allow it to begin the work, the first stone of which will be laid next Friday, of the business incubator that will be carried out in the Marismas de Palmones Business Park, in Los Barrios, a project that is the result of the collaboration agreement signed with the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation.
At the same time, and in order to expedite as much as possible the putting on the market of the new facilities intended for entrepreneurs, the procedures have already been prepared to begin the pre-marketing, in agreement with the City Council, the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber and the Incyde Foundation, of these 14 industrial warehouses, after the Executive Committee of the Consortium approved in its last meeting the rates for the commercialization of these spaces, made up of 13 warehouses with a total of 226 m2, 193 of them on the ground floor and with a mezzanine with a finished office and toilet of 33 m2, in addition to a smaller warehouse with 212 m2 -186 on the ground floor and 26 m2 for an office-.
The warehouses, which will be completed before the end of the year and intended mainly for entrepreneurs, have a price well below what the area market currently has and interested parties can opt for these facilities from 371 euros per month to 395 euros per month.
This action, which was awarded to the company San José Constructora, is carried out after the collaboration agreement signed in February by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce, and the INCYDE Foundation (Camera Institute for Business Creation and Development) of the chambers of commerce.
This work has a total investment of 2.8 million euros, eighty percent contributed by the European Regional Development Fund through the INCYDE Foundation and the remaining twenty percent, by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium.
The agreement establishes that the property will remain in the hands of the Cádiz Free Zone Consortium, while its management and administration will be developed jointly with the INCYDE Foundation and the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce, an entity that will work on the revitalization of the incubator and the dissemination of its services, all within the deadlines designated by FEDER.
A commission, made up of these three entities, will be in charge of selecting the applicants who wish to settle in the business incubator. This selection will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set by the FEDER Operational program through the instructions of the INCYDE Foundation.
