The delegate of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, accompanied by the mayor of Alcalá de los Gazules, Julio Toscano, and managers of the winning company, yesterday supervised the start of the works for the execution of the urban improvement and accessibility of the La Palmosa Industrial Estate, in Alcalá de los Gazules. The first mayor came accompanied by his party's candidate for Mayor, Susana Ruiz.
La Zona Franca de Cádiz adjudicó estas obras hace diez días a la empresa Construcciones Francisco Manzano SL por un importe de 187.395 euros (IVA no incluido) y un plazo de ejecución de dos meses y medio.
Three were the companies that were presented to the public tender open on April 17 by the Free Zone of Cádiz to undertake these works, co-financed by funds requested within the framework of the Feder de Andalucía operating program 2007-2013.
The project contemplates actions aimed at strengthening the urban structure, the improvement of the service infrastructure and a potentiation of the global image, which will result in more attractive spaces, greater business quality and comfort for users.
The works will improve paving, accessibility -with adaptability of pedestrian passages, accessible tours, etc-, in addition to a reorganization of the frontal space that will include the management of parking spaces; creation of rest zones; creation of children's spaces; Ordination of green areas and improvement of traffic signage.
With this project, the Free Zone strengthens its line of work already initiated in other polygons such as palmons or the portal, in order to serve as an economy reactivating instrument, since the improvement in the La Palmosa polygon will value the facilities, in order to contribute to the socio -economic development of the entire area.
