The head of the Institution reviewed the projects that will turn the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz into the first economic center of the province in the next 3-5 years
The Special Delegate of the State of the Free Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, spoke on Wednesday before the members attending the Ordinary General Assembly of the Circle of Andalusian Construction, Consulting and Public Works Companies (CEACOP) in Seville, to whom he explained the advantages and strengths that the Free Zone offers, now enhanced with the great expansion and expansion project that the Cádiz Institution is carrying out.
Jorge Ramos detailed the projects launched by the Institution in recent years, highlighting the expansion and expansion project to other municipalities in the province that will position it in the next 3-5 years as the first economic and industrial center of the province and highlighting the importance of the privileged location of Cádiz as a logistics platform, not only for distribution but also for production.
The head of the Free Zone highlighted that Cádiz is going to be the great Free Zone of Andalusia, explaining that it will go from the 328,000 m2 - which it currently has in the Cadiz capital - to 1,300,000 m2 throughout the province, expanding to other municipalities such as Los Barrios, Algeciras, La Línea or Jerez.
This project will generate a significant supply of attractive land and available spaces for the establishment of companies, which will increase their competitiveness by being able to benefit from the customs and tax advantages inherent to a tax precinct and will, therefore, save production costs.
Along these lines, Ramos explained that with the attraction of investments in these new productive spaces, the Free Zone is a great factor to complete the productive model of the province and encouraged attendees to get to know the Free Zone of Cádiz, its advantages and the privilege of having a very close and strategically located province.
The delegate of the Free Zone thanked the president of CEACOP, Francisco Felipe Fernández Olmo, and all the members of the assembly for the invitation to participate in this forum, which brings together important construction and engineering companies, and expressed his satisfaction for having the possibility of presenting the projects of the Institution he represents before the members of the assembly.
