The Special Delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the Jerez Chamber of Commerce, Javier Sánchez Rojas, have signed today a collaboration agreement through which both institutions will work together to improve the management of small and medium-sized businesses and promote business initiatives through a training and advisory program. The mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, attended the event.
The Consortium and the Jerez Chamber, in this case through the Incyde Foundation, have among their main objectives the promotion of business activity in their area of influence and consider the modernization of companies and the incorporation of new ones to be essential to generate economic activity.
Through the agreement signed today, both entities will promote the consolidation of existing companies and the creation of new ones through a training and advice program aimed at people who, having a business idea, want to create their own company, as well as companies that want to develop and grow through entrepreneur training.
In this way, the training program, which will be taught to a maximum of 50 companies/entrepreneurs and will have a total of 252 hours, is focused on entrepreneurs who, starting from an international business idea, want to develop it and create their own company, in addition to those SMEs that want to improve their profitability or evaluate alternatives for international expansion.
At the same time, attendees will be able to learn first-hand about the advantages offered by the Cádiz Free Zone in its facilities throughout the province and the breadth of services available to the Business Centers developed by the Cádiz Institution in different municipalities, including Jerez de la Frontera.
The experience of the Jerez Chamber of Commerce in providing services to companies and promoting economic activity means that the interests of it and the Free Zone for the benefit of the economy in general and companies in particular coincide, so the union of forces will benefit the objectives of both entities, which are none other than the promotion and consolidation of the business fabric.
