A total of 19 companies participated in the open public tender on November 4 within the framework of an action co-financed by funds requested within the framework of the ERDF Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013.
The Free Zone of Cádiz has awarded PRINUR SAU the adaptation works for two warehouses located in the Interior Area of the Free Zone and which will be used as a storage area for medical supplies for the Andalusian Health Service (SAS). The award amount amounts to 1,140,526.12 euros (VAT not included), 26% lower than the base tender budget of 1,547,797.10 euros (VAT not included), and is co-financed by Funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013.
This award is the culmination of the public tender that Zona Franca opened on November 4 to put out to tender the aforementioned works, to which a total of 19 offers were submitted.
The works, which have a completion period of three and a half months and are scheduled to begin this March, will be carried out in warehouses 17A and 17B of the Interior Campus, specifically on Portugal Street, and respond to the need to have a strategically located area in the city of Cádiz for the storage of medical supplies.
Currently, the aforementioned warehouses are finished externally and internally, although for use as a general warehouse, so they are open plan. However, they have all their enclosures and are equipped with connections for the different services at the foot of them.
Likewise, the access roads are perfectly urbanized and perfectly connected, so the work to be carried out consists of interior conditioning for the activity for which they will be used, also creating an office and toilet area. The two warehouses have a total area of 3,950.00 m², currently being diaphanous.
