These Reindus Funds will allow the Free Zone to expand and expand throughout the province, starting with the fiscal precinct in the capital and in the El Fresno Logistics Area in Los Barrios.
Specifically in the city of Cádiz, the Tax Precinct will have an additional 130,000 m2, with a planned investment of approximately 38 million euros and a rapid return on investment is expected since the implementation of at least three important industries is contemplated this year.
In Los Barrios, the Consortium has already signed with the Andalusian Ports Agency of Andalusia the agreement for the acquisition of some 70,000 m2 in El Fresno, in the Bahía de Algeciras Logistics Area, where the fiscal area will be located, next to the Northern access to the Port of Algeciras and at the foot of the road communication with Seville and Madrid and the Mediterranean corridor, which makes it the most important hinterland of the Port of Algeciras, and for which there are also several companies interested in settling.
The expansion project of the Free Trade Zone throughout the province contemplates the expansion from 300,000 to 1,300,000 m2, which will turn the Cádiz Institution into the first industrial focus of the province of Cádiz and will generate a strong economic movement in the three areas: Bahía de Cádiz, Jerez and Bahía de Algeciras.
