Free Zone, Chamber of Commerce of Cádiz and INCYDE Foundation sign an agreement for the development of 10 nest ships in Ubrique

Previously, the Executive Committee of the Consortium gave the green light to the execution of the project and the signing of the agreement
 
The warehouses, with surfaces between 140 and 175 m2, will put modern facilities with advantageous conditions at the service of entrepreneurs in the Sierra.

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone continues to grow and will increase its presence in Sierra de Cádiz. Thus, yesterday morning Zona Franca, Chamber of Commerce of Cádiz and INCYDE Foundation -Camera Institute for the Creation and Development of the Company- signed a collaboration agreement for the development of a set of 10 nest warehouses in Ubrique, after its previous ratification by the Executive Committee of the Consortium in its session held also yesterday, which authorized the execution of the basic and execution project to be able to put out to tender the works as soon as possible.
On behalf of the Free Trade Zone, the Special State Delegate, Jorge Ramos, signed; representing the Chamber was its president, Ángel Juan Pascual; and on behalf of the INCYDE Foundation, Javier Collado Cortés, General Director.
This action has a total investment of 1,080,000 euros, being co-financed by Funds from the framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, with an execution period until December 31, 2015.
The project, whose purpose is to improve business management through the creation of a Business Incubator that allows contemplating a business fabric more in line with the new technological and organizational structures, contemplates the construction of the aforementioned 10 warehouses on the IT-5B plot, on an area of ​​1,575 square meters.
The warehouses will have different sizes, with 4 of 140 square meters planned, 3 of 170 square meters and another 3 of 175 square meters, all of them with mezzanines and equipped with the best qualities. The proposal included in the building project, already drafted by the Free Zone Technical Department, has prioritized functionality and efficiency in the distribution of the buildings; an aesthetic and quality commitment that provides added value to both the industrial estate and the environment; and volumes and heights have been defined with the aim of optimizing energy production from renewable sources, particularly photovoltaic solar energy.
This important facility for the mountain municipality will enable the creation of new spaces in which entrepreneurs in the area will be able to start and/or consolidate their activities with advantageous conditions and a minimal economic impact on their businesses.
Within the framework of this action, Jorge Ramos has at all times maintained close collaboration with the mayor of Ubrique, Manuel Toro, who has lent his support to this project aimed at meeting the demand in the municipality for new business equipment that meets the growth expectations that Ubrique is experiencing, especially in the leather sector.
