The tender budget amounts to 13.7 million euros and the deadline for submitting offers is until January 9 at 2:00 p.m.

The action, which contemplates a global investment of 14.7 million euros, projects the construction of a new silo warehouse, which will increase the production and storage volume by 7,932 m3
The Special Delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos Aznar, and the sole administrator of Harinera Vilafraquina S.A., Jose María Solá Vall, signed this morning the contract for the expansion of the Cádiz Tax Precinct plant, to which the Free Zone Executive Committee gave the green light last Tuesday, November 25.
With this signature and in order to expedite the start of the work in the shortest possible time, the Consortium has also proceeded today to tender the execution works of the "EXECUTIVE PROJECT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FLOUR STORAGE, MIXING AND BULK LOADING SILOS", with the sending of the corresponding announcement to the Official Journal of the European Union (DOUE) and the Official State Gazette (BOE).
This action, financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, has a base bidding budget of 13.7 million euros (VAT not included) and a deadline for the presentation of offers until next January 9, at 2:00 p.m. The total investment of the entire action will reach 14.75 million euros, including the machinery. The action also has bridge financing of 12 million euros.
Once the offers are received, the qualification process will proceed, following the requirements set out in the specifications. The opening of the technical offers is scheduled for January 19, at 10:00 a.m., the information of which will be reported in a timely manner through the Contractor's Profile on the website www.zonafrancacadiz.com. The works have a maximum execution period of one year.
The new ship, in figures
This is one of the most important projects for the city's economy since it will generate economic activity, by increasing the storage capacity of Vilafranquina by 7,933 m3.
The construction, consisting of an installation of aerial metal silos intended for the collection of flour, will have an area of 631.28 m2 with a maximum height of 47.10 meters. This silo module will be adjacent to the existing grain warehouses although separate from the existing flour production building and connected only by an aerial walkway at the top.
The new ship will be a rectangular plant of dimensions 30.35 x 20.80 meters and will have several levels. The first level will be used for truck loading, clean production area, accesses, warehouses and compressor room. The following levels will be used for machinery and process equipment, while at the last level the filling of the silos will be carried out.
The investment in machinery, which consists of a weighing system, hoist, storage silos, installation of mechanical equipment, sanitary equipment, elevator and pallet racking, amounts to 8.3 million euros.
