Last night, the Tobacco Warehouses of the city of Cádiz hosted the 10th La Voz Awards, which each year recognize the work of people, institutions or organizations in different areas of Cádiz society. Cádiz Free Trade Zone receives the award in this edition THE VOICE TO THE COMPANY, highlighting the intense work that the Fiscal Institution carries out to promote business activity in the province of Cádiz.
The Special State Delegate, Jorge Ramos, collected the award from Álvaro Rodríguez Guitart, managing director of ABC Andalucía and general director of La Voz. Ramos extended the award to each and every one of the workers who make up the Zona Franca Group staff and especially to its management team, made up of Tania Barcelona, ​​Chief of Staff; José Manuel Fedriani, general director. Isabel González, general secretary; Ignacio Díaz Rodríguez-Valdés, general technical coordinator; Raquel Penco, head of Human Resources; and Ignacio Javier Gutiérrez, director of Project Exploitation and Development.
In his speech, the delegate thanked the recognition of the work of the Consortium to offer entrepreneurs in the province all the necessary services and tools to develop their ideas, work that will be intensified in the next 3-5 years as the Free Trade Zone is immersed in a crucial project for its future: The expansion and extension to new tax precincts in the province, which will allow it to go from the current 330,000 m2 to 1,300,000 m2, creating new spaces with customs and tax advantages in which entrepreneurs will save costs, increasing the competitiveness of their businesses.
Ramos also made a special mention to the mayor and president of the Consortium, Teófila Martínez, whom he thanked for her support in the implementation of this project, which is now a reality, as well as the Government of the Nation for betting on the future of the Free Zone both through the Ministry of Finance and Industry, Energy and Tourism.
In addition, the Sanlúcar Horse Racing Association (La Voz Award for Sports), the politician, diplomat and jurist José Pedro Pérez-Llorca Rodrigo (La Voz Award for Society), the composer, arranger, music producer and singer Manuel Álvarez-Beigbeder Pérez “Manuel Alejandro” will also receive an award in this edition.” (La Voz Award for Culture).
