Zona Franca de Cádiz publicly requests that the Andalusian Government make a clear statement on the construction of the new hospital in Cádiz, whose plot owned by the Cádiz Consortium has been unused since the agreement between administrations was signed in 2008, in which Zona Franca contributed the land, valued at more than 11 million euros.

The delegate of the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, has made repeated calls to find a solution to the issue and even in April of this year he reiterated a specific proposal to the Junta de Andalucía, in which he put on the table the possibility of carrying out an exchange of the nearly 40,000 square meters owned by the Consortium in what is known as the former CASA lands for other lands of the regional Administration, as well as selling the lands so that the Board undertakes the works whenever it wants.
What cannot be is that the Free Trade Zone has a plot of land paralyzed, which represents an economic loss and an enormous loss for the Consortium and a city like Cádiz, which is in great need of this equipment.
The Cádiz Consortium has also officially requested information on the construction of the new health center, without any response or proposal for a meeting between the parties to date.
To finish unraveling the mess, the delegate of the Andalusian Government in Cádiz, Fernando López Gil, has made some statements in the last few hours that increase the confusion since he argued that "the hospital has to be built in the future", but without making the forecast clear, while the plot belonging to the Free Trade Zone continues in disuse and the Cádiz Institution without a response from the Andalusian Executive.
For all this, Zona Franca demands a clear response of the intentions and deadlines of the Andalusian Government, reiterating for the umpteenth time its willingness to exchange or sell to the autonomous Administration, as a solution to the current paralysis and economic failure that hinders its activity, so, if it does not receive a response, it does not rule out the complaint for non-compliance with the agreement signed six years ago with the Andalusian Government.
