Jorge Ramos participated in the closing of the Business Creation and Consolidation course at the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce

The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, participated yesterday afternoon at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce in Algeciras in the closing of the training program “Business creation and consolidation” launched by the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce, the Incyde Foundation and the Cádiz Free Trade Zone and the final balance of the program, from which 18 projects have benefited, highlights the generation of up to 34 new jobs and an initial investment of 613,000 euros.
Jorge Ramos, who shared the presidential table with the mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, the president of the Chamber, Carlos Fenoy; María José Jiménez, responsible for Training of the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce, and Ana Santillán, responsible for Training Coordination and Management of the European Social Fund.
The delegate of the Free Trade Zone congratulated those present and thanked all the entrepreneurs for their efforts despite difficult times. At the same time, he invited them to enjoy the advantages offered by the Free Trade Zone, which works every day to offer spaces in line with the needs of young entrepreneurs.
The head of the Cádiz Institution also expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved in relation to employment and investment. "The Administration does not create employment, companies create it. And that is where we have to direct our efforts together," said Ramos, who agreed with the mayor of Algeciras that it is in the alliance and in the unity of action where the success of the initiatives supported by institutions and administrations lies.
For his part, the mayor of the city highlighted the importance of the investments that Zona Franca is carrying out both in Algeciras and in other towns in the area, and which are complemented by the implementation of this type of programs.
This Business Creation and Consolidation program has consisted of two phases. A first workshop (Digital environments for business, personal branding and employability 2.0) lasted twenty-five hours, in which 40 attendees participated, and a second phase (Business Creation and Consolidation) of 200 hours, aimed at developing the business plan.
It should be remembered that the Executive Committee of the Free Zone of Cádiz authorized in its session in March the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Consortium of the Free Zone of Cádiz and the Chamber of Commerce of Campo de Gibraltar for the development of actions aimed at improving, through training and advice, the business management of small and medium-sized companies, in addition to carrying out initiatives aimed at self-employment and the creation of companies and promote business initiatives that improve and complete the business fabric more in line with the new technological and organizational structures.
