The Special State Delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, held a working meeting this morning with the mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, in order to outline the details for the future implementation of a tax and customs facility on the land owned by the Free Zone Consortium in Los Pastores, adjacent to the Cortijo Real. Technicians from both institutions were also present at the meeting.
Ramos explained that it is an ambitious project sponsored by the Ministry of Finance on which Zona Franca depends to make the best use of those lands located between the Los Pastores Daycare Center and the Industrial Estate of Cortijo Real, while Landaluce highlighted the importance of the project due to its impact on the creation of economic activity and employment on land owned by Zona Franca but that had not been used and that thanks to this action they will be valued.
