The special delegate of the State in the Consortium of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, addresses the complaints made about plugging in the Free Trade Zone, declaring that all hiring is in accordance with the law and that, exactly, those reported are temporary and in no case indefinite, while also highlighting the decrease in managerial positions in relation to the previous stage, as well as the equally low salaries that have been experienced within this stage.
He has thus detailed that from 8 managers, including the Special delegate himself in 2011, in 2013 it has gone down to 7, which also includes the current delegate and that this reduction has meant a saving of 78,822.70€.
Likewise, it has clarified that, in accordance with the current regulations regarding hiring, senior managers, who leave their position coinciding with the termination of their appointment, have been processed before the General Directorate of Costs and the General Directorate of Public Function, dependent on the Ministry of Finance, which has issued a favorable report, and have had the supervision and approval of the General State Attorney's Office.
In another order of things, and continuing with the clarification of the complaint made, Ramos has explained that in the companies of the Zona Franca Group none of the reported incorporations are of an indefinite nature and that, as is the case of the one produced in Servicios Documentales de Andalucía (SDA) in which the contract has been replacement due to sick leave and his stay in the company has been exactly less than 3 months, he is not currently working since the sick leave that caused this contract has been incorporated.
Likewise, it has been referred not to the commercial director as is erroneously reported, but to the commercial manager of the investee companies, who is also temporary, with a 6-month contract and whose justification comes along the lines of encouraging the marketing of Free Zone products and services.
He has also referred to another equally temporary worker, in this case justified by the need to have a specialist in real estate issues for the development of the Exterior Precinct of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz.
In any case, Ramos has emphasized the fact that, in no way, has he proceeded during his mandate to hire anyone on an indefinite basis and without the salary mass of said hirings having entailed any increase with respect to the existing ones, since they have served either to cover casualties or to replace other vacant positions.
Finally, Ramos has regretted that an improper and sectarian use is made due to the origin or ideology of some of the people questioned, which has nothing to do with the reality of the personnel policy, and in no way with the assignment of anyone, a fact that the delegate assures he wants to believe also occurred in previous mandates and that were never called into question.
Ramos concludes by affirming total transparency but at the same time demanding total loyalty, because it is time to help and lend a hand to place this Institution in the role it must play in strengthening economic activity in this province.
