Zona Franca will formalize on Wednesday the acquisition of the “Tiro Janer” site from the Ministry of Defense

The plot will house a Commercial and Business Park of 60,000 square meters,

Next Wednesday, March 6, the project for the construction of a Business and Commercial Park on the site of the former Janer Naval Shooting School, in San Fernando, will take an important step for its development. At 1:00 p.m., the signing of an agreement is scheduled between the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium and the Ministry of Defense, through the Institute of Housing, Infrastructure and Defense Equipment (INVIED), by which the Consortium will acquire the “Old Janer Naval Shooting School” property, as committed by the Special Delegate of the State in the Consortium, Jorge Ramos, and the Mayor of San Fernando, José Loaiza at the end of 2012.
The agreement will be ratified by the Free Trade Zone Delegate, Jorge Ramos, and by the Managing Director of the Autonomous Organization Institute of Housing, Infrastructure and Defense Equipment, attached to the Ministry of Defense, Fernando Villayandre Fornier.
The property acquired by the Consortium will allow the creation of a Commercial and Business Park with a maximum construction of approximately 60,000 square meters and which will include commercial space, a business center, hotel use, and even a bus stop station is not ruled out.
The action that will be carried out stands out for its sustainability, since it will be marked by an occupation of the total surface area of ​​no more than 40%, in addition to protecting the Asset of Cultural Interest located on that site, for which a reserve of more than 5,000 square meters has been made, as well as another 3,000 meters that will be allocated to the electrical substation necessary to guarantee the supply, not only of the park, but of the entire city of San Fernando.
