The Governing Council of the Aletas Consortium, chaired by the president and undersecretary of Finance and Public Administrations, Pilar Platero, met this morning in the plenary hall of the Headquarters of the Free Trade Zone for more than two hours. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the central Government in this body, among them, in addition to the Undersecretary of the Treasury, the delegate of the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, the representative of the Provincial Council, José Loaiza, of the Puerto Real City Council, Maribel Peinado, and the representatives of the Junta de Andalucía, among whom were the Minister of the Presidency and vice president of the Consortium, Susana Díez, and the Delegate of the Andalusian Government, Fernando López Gil.
Platero added that there is still no set date for the Council of Ministers to discuss Las Aletas nor for a next meeting of the Governing Council, but he did highlight that a study of the legal, technical and economic feasibility of all the proposals presented was going to be carried out.
