The Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium has approved the agreement with the Ministry of Defense for the acquisition of the land of the Tiro Janer industrial estate, thus fulfilling a historical claim of the city of San Fernando.
The project, which is being worked on at all times with the help of the city council, will involve the enhancement of more than 65,000 square meters of a space that is destined to be a modern Business Park that will promote the economic and business development of San Fernando.
Once the agreement with Defense is signed, the next steps will be to define a management plan; commission the urbanization project; and specify the different uses that the land will have, thus configuring one of the most desired actions on La Isla, which will guarantee the business, industrial and commercial development of the city.
In this sense, in the coming days, the Special Delegate of the State in the Consortium, Jorge Ramos, plans to visit the mayor of San Fernando, José Loaiza, to finalize a Stage Plan that details in detail the achievement of the project, which is coming to light after accumulating more than six years of delay.
