The Consortium of Cádiz Free Zone It is governed by two governing bodies:

    • The Plenary
    • The Executive Committee

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone is a public law entity linked to or dependent on the General Administration of the State (art. 2.2 i of Law 47/2003, of November 26, General Budget)", specifically dependent on the Ministry of Finance, which has legal personality and therefore, full capacity to carry out any acts that are necessary or convenient for the development and achievement of its object: management and administration of the Free Zones (Cádiz and Bahía de Algeciras); as well as promote, manage and exploit, under private law, directly or associated with other organizations, all assets, of any nature, that are part of its assets and located outside the territory of the Free Zone, that could belong to it by virtue of any admissible title in law, in order to contribute to the development and economic and social revitalization of its area of ​​influence. The Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium is managed by the special state delegate, Francisco González Pérez, while the Presidency is held by the mayor of the city. The presidency of the Plenary corresponds to the mayor and that of the Executive Committee to the State delegate, whose daily management is supported by a management team and specialized technical personnel.

Organizational structure

The Executive committee It is made up, in addition to the State delegate, by two members of the State, two members of the Cádiz City Council, a member of the Cádiz Customs Administrator and a member of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation.

  • Councilor of the City Council of Cádiz: Mr. Juan José Ortíz Quevedo.
  • Member of the Councilor of Ayto. from Cádiz: Mr. José Manuel Cossi González.
  • Member of Cádiz Customs Administrator: Ms. Concepción de la Rosa Cordón.
  • Member of the Cadiz Chamber of Commerce: Mr. Ángel Juan Pascual.

The Plenary It is made up, in turn, in addition to the mayor-president and the Special Delegate who holds the vice-presidency, by three members of the State, by five from the Cádiz City Council, one from the Provincial Council, one from the Port Authority, as well as representatives of the Customs Administration, Chamber of Commerce and Renfe.
