Fran González collected the award at the event held this Friday afternoon in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.
The Literary, Artistic and Scientific Athenaeum of Cádiz has awarded the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz the Gaditano of the Year Award in the Business Area, an award that was received by the State delegate, Fran González, in the event that took place this Friday in the plenary hall of the City Council.
Along with the Free Trade Zone, the Alendoy Association has been awarded in the Area of Human Rights and Social Work; the pianist Chano Domínguez in the Flamenco Area; to the romancer Ana Magallanes in the Carnival Area; to the bullfighter David Galván in the Bullfighting Area to the bullfighter David Galván; to the Cádiz Club de Fútbol Genuine in the Sports Area; to the researcher Inmaculada Faide Martínez in the Scientific Area; the painter Cecilio Chaves in the Artistic Area; and the poet and writer Juan Antonio Macías Gutiérrez in the Literary Area. The Luis Gonzalo Foundation Award, which celebrated its eighth edition, went to Cádiz dancer Eduardo Guerrero.
The Ateneo Gaditanos of the Year Awards are a veteran award that in 2024 reaches its 23rd edition and is awarded together with the Luis Gonzalo Foundation Award, which this year celebrates its eighth edition. The awards usually distinguish people or entities related to culture in all its facets, business or carnival.
